Good post. Long post, but a good one!! 
I agree with the majority of your post.
I especially like the fact that you made distintion about Westernize and American females. My assumption is that American means white / caucasion, while Westernize means any one that has those beliefs.
IMO:
In regards to keeping oneself in a good shape. Beyond the health reasons, I would think that it was just self improvment. I also can not stand people who let themselves go. I'm not taking about having to be so fit you can run a marathon, but just ingeneral.
I like it when a female makes sure she looks her best. That just means putting on the same make-up as she did before, doing her hair, and dressing to the occassion. Nothing out of the ordinary. And keeping with that theme, I do the same. I make sure I don't look like scruffy when we go out.
For me, I prefer Asian females that are Westernized. I am an A.B.C so that probably makes sense!! ha ha ha!! And being Westernize for me does not mean 100% where they forget the Asian culture.
I know plenty of Asian females that if you did not see them and only talked to them you would swear they were white. The only reason they are sonsidered Asian is because of their looks.
A woman that is over 5'7" is pretty skinny under 120lbs.
That is way too skinny for me. I would say that almost borders on unhealthy. 5'7" 130lbs is fine for me.

Asian women rock.
I do not know a single male who has come to LOS who does not want (wish he could) to move here or is not planning to move here. Except for and even some of my happily married friends wish they were not married.
Who would not want to walk around so 'target rich' and evironment where all the targets see you as Donald Trump ?
I only wonder how long this Disneyland for farang men will last. Once LOS and other places are no longer 3rd or 2nd world, the 'honeymoon' just may be over.
Fortunately for me, I will be long gone by then.

Ah you are so right...
What you said about the Donald Trump stuff is right on too. You know I think that this is why you here all these stories in the US about going to Europe because the "women love Americans over there"...
I never ran into that though. I have had a couple of European girlfriends but they weren't into me just because I was an American.
I think that "being an American" thing was something that was more true when Europe was still recovering from WWII and America was seen in a different light at that time. I think the cultural memory of this hangs around the US like a bad fart.
I do know that most American girls will flop onto their backs like a walrus and spread'em as soon as they see a European male over here though.
On the other hand Thailand's history as far back as I have read about western men and local ladies has had Thai ladies chomping at the bit for western men since at least the 1500's. So maybe there is a little more time left. 
Interestingly Thai guys don't really seem to go for farang ladies though. We were in Chiang Mai in December and stayed at the Sheraton. It was really cool because I thought it was like some sort of time travel episode. The Sheraton isn't cheap by Thai standards but there were a lot of middle aged Thai ladies and their mixed race kids running around all in their nice clothes with European and American accents.
Basically my experience at the Chiang Mai Sheraton last December was like looking at a timelapse documentary of the staff and patrons of any beer bar in Thailand. Look at the bar:
See all the girls scampering about calling to the "sexy mannn" to come over and sit down.
BF's negotiated along with the evening's rental fee.
Walk of shame at the hotel (bungalow, cinder block shack, etc.)...
ID card left at the desk...
Great Sex
American breakfast ordered by her.
Great sex
Good hard week or two seeing all the same old tours for her (all new to him).
Great sex
Bracelet purchased...
Great sex
Feelings of love first expressed, by him.
Mutual feelings of appreciation and attraction.

It wasn't hard to see that many of these slim svelt soccer moms had had a colorful past. However they all seemed to have blended pretty well into the west and looked to have done well by everyone involved. I took it as a measure of their success that many had teenage children that were clearly well mannered and well educated. I guess I mention this because of all the negativity I have heard about Thailand's "speed dating" facilities in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Samui... 
In all of this familial coziness though I only saw one couple where she was a farang (from London) and he was from Thailand.
Whatever happens I am now so hopelessly and happily in love with Thailand that I am working on my plan to move there all the time...

most of the white women at my gym are struggling to get into a size 14 - yuk!
you want to pick a treadmill in the first row. nothing worse than having one on a treadmill in front of you - a really depressing sight...........

Just treat them as PSA's (Public Service Announcements). Once you imagine a big banner stating 'The reason you go to LOS', they are easier to endure

BUT.... WHY, when one ventures upcountry, and see's the mothers of all these good looking TGS, - are they by and large fairly ordinary looking,and often overweight.

well, I'm pretty sure we won't all agree girls in MBK look that good... I for one don't share that opinion. It's not only about how slim the girls are but as well about facial features and how they dress and make up...hence MBK is a hassle to wade through while Discovery and Siam Center a crossroad away have sweeter eye candy... and likely I see better looking girls in popular hang out for the same age range in Paris and even sometime in upcountry France. End of the day I'll stick to TGs but that's because they are way easier

Same reason why farang young girls look (comparatively) way better than (in most cases) their mothers -- until they reach their 30s, and then certainly in their 50s.
When you're at MBK, you will mostly see girls in their 19s - 25s. The mothers you see at home, at usually in their 50s and upwards. The difference is also that mothers upcountry will have led a much harsher life, that would have left obvious scars -- add to that having had a couple of kids, and you end up with what you see.
They are still very nice people, for the most part, and then there are those mothers who are still lookers in their 50s... Dive into that genepool.
