What's all this about American Football being a 'minority sport'? Yes, there are a lot of African-Americans on the gridiron. There's even an Asian-American. Fastmover, you Canadians will have to learn to count to 'four'. And what about five quarts to the gallon? I appreciated it whenever my grandfather brought us pure maple syrup from Sault Ste Marie. Don't play much golf up there, do you?
But we all bleed the same color, and we all put our cups on first when preparing for battle. Except for that young lady who kicks for New Mexico University, and I think she puts her cups on first, but I'm not sure. More power to ya honey, I take my helmet off to salute. But next time please split the posts, or I fear women will forever be destined for the sidelines and halftime shows. Not you, Janet.
BTW Fastmover, I saw the Toronto Argonaughts play at decrepit old Exhibition Stadium in August 1980. What a joke! There was a limit of two American players per team, so there was a quarterback and a running back from US Universities, and everyone else just stood there. The game reminded me of "The Night of the Living Dead". To make matters worse, the Argonettes were dissatisfied with their extra skimpy new outfits, and refused to take the field. I should have demanded my money back!

Sorry, the meds are playing havoc with my ability to recognize tongue in cheek.
Haven't spoken to George in a while (RIP). He steered clear of the White House ever since Tricky Dick gave him that bum play for the Super Bowl. I was a big fan of his when he ran the Rams. Bum play from Nixon? You mean the one when Mike Bass ran back the interception for a touchdown on the Garo Yupremiun pass? That was brilliant! Prevented the shutout, remember. They must have practiced that all week. Should have put Nixon in charge of the offense, instead of relegating him to special teams. He would have been a natural Offensive Coordinator. Being offensive was his forte.
