And, it doesn't matter what Manning says. Looks like San Diego will draft him #1 and then take their chances.
He's stupid if you ask me. Dissin' an NFL team like that. I would what LT (Tomlinson) has to say about Mannings comments.

Manning is trying to pull a John Elway (who told the Colts the same thing). I think you will see a trade for the top pick, or the Chargers may just pick someone else. In any case, it is a game of chicken that may go down to the wire between the Chargers, Manning, and the Giants (who want to trade for the top pick).

I agree that he's trying to pull an Elway. At this moment, ESPN is reporting that the Chargers will pick Manning and are prepared to let him sit the season out.
It looks like the Giants are trying to negotiate for the top pick, but I guess after finding out Eli does not want to play for the Chargers are not tring to sweeten the deal for that pick.
We will see though. I think the Chargers should trade the pick and get extra draft picks. Their team needs more then just Qb help. Besides LT, they have no one!!
