I figure that there are three categories of Farang who walk around looking like shit in Bangkok.
Cat 1- Tourists who think that just because it is hot here, they have to dress like they are at the beach, or some island resort. They probably have no hot weather clothes fashion in their own country, because it is always too dam cold. You can see people in Europe still walking around in leather jackets in the summer when it is hot. So my guess is they only have winter clothes, and beach clothes.
Cat 2- The over the hill guy who justs says f*** it. I know I am not going to get ANY pussy in Thailand unless I am paying for it, so who should I impress. Only a loser dresses up to look good for a P4P girl.
Cat 3- Normally the Backpacker, or Farang girl who thinks that just because he or she is in the tropics, that they have to dress like they are going to live in some jungle hut for the next few weeks, and want to fit in with the local tribe. Or..they just can't afford any decent clean clothes.
But in the end...none of us are going to change this from happening. It is a lost cause. Hopefully they all just stay down in Pattaya, where that seems to be the norm.
