No as usual you guys miss the point. I like to go out and play with the Thai ladies. I understand the dynamics (do you guys know what that word means?) of the game. I just see so many guys with this attitude of their all whores and no good but you use their services. I am not judging you as to your reason for coming over here. Some of you have such low self esteem that you need to run people down and trash the Thai people. The thing I think most of you forget is you are the foreigner and this is not your culture. Accept it the way it is and stop running the Culture and people down by using your Western Values. After all the girls see you as an ATM and are looking to survive the best way they can.
I worked for 23 years with a computer company writing Technical manuels. I decided I had enough and wanted to see the world and found the best way to do so was by teaching which I enjoy. I have made several Thai friends on my Soi and try to get out to the bars once or twice a week (preferrably during the week with less competition). I just want people to respect each other and stop with I am better than they are attitude. It's what's tearing up Western Culture.

My two cents: When someone has found a place overseas they love, whether it be a tropical island or a place like Thailand (which I will be visiting soon for the first time), be careful by moving there and ruining it. Certain things in life are best taken in small doses so as not to ruin its appeal. Familiarity with people or a places can breed contempt for it. I've seen many a young American that saw the Hawaiian Islands and just had to move there only to leave totally disillusioned and jaded a few years later. I think Thailand could be that way.
On the other hand, if life has dealt you some bad breaks or you've made serious mistakes leaving you without many prospects, I would much rather spend my life living hand to mouth traveling around the world than living hand to mouth in my country of origin. At least travelling or living in another country, you get to have some interesting experiences. I have a very close friend, never married, in his early 40s, barely getting by on a series of bad jobs, and more or less lives pay check to paycheck. In his entire life he has only traveled to a few states and seen very little. One night I asked him what the point of his life was? He was insulted which wasn't my intention and of course he gave me the "I've got everything I need right here" speech. I tried to convince him he should work, raise $10 - $15 K and travel the world until his money runs out and then come back and work again and repeat the process. At least that way, he would have some interesting experiences. He didn't seem interested and I thought it was kind of sad. So I would say an expat living the kind of lifestyle I recommended to my friend would be better off than the majority of people living paycheck to paycheck.

All I can see is a diatribe of complete and utter nonsense from DG. It is not really surprising that he spends most of his time with Thai hookers with which he cant properly converse. It seems fairly apparent to me that he is incapable of holding a proper conversation with a normal english speaking human being.
