You take the f***er down anyway you can, and seeing as you are in your own place and cannot run away, you make sure he stays down and does not ever get back up.

In a business, perhaps. Depends on the size, legal relations, products threatened, and many other factors.
In a private residence, the trespasser will have to meet my stuff (forgive the slang) I can only expect, before time can be had to call police. Permissible more by American law than Thai, in my understanding of both.
But there are so many factors here: his armament, behavior, etc. You can't take chances if you have to protect your women and/or children, of course. This is probably straying from subject again quite a bit though.

Alcohol consumption changes one's attitude; happy, sad, argumentative, etc.... to lay blame on the individual's sex, race, nationality etc is poor judgement reasoning.... its the individual's choice to be a dumb assed drunk and start a fight with four other dumb asses that like to fight !
Alcohol or drugs shows no prejudicial boundaries ! its the addicted user and their enablers to blame, not the society at whole!
Alcohol addiction itself is a major prevelence in Thailand !

In the US the two Thais who struck him (with hand and foot) would have clearly been subject to assault charges.
There is simply no justification for a physical attack under those circumstances, no matter how obnoxious the customer is behaving. And the video would have likely led to their easy conviction/plea bargain.
But this altercation did not take place in the US and most likely never would have. At most a bouncer or two would have physically ejected him. Thais seem to think that a good sucker punch and follow-on kick to the face is swifter justice.
I don't worry too much about it personally as I am seldom if ever loud and obnoxious, but I can't say I approve of it as a general matter. There is something very disturbing about this kind of violence across cultural and ethnic lines.
