Was going to respond to you via PM, but decided to share these thoughts (or twisted fantasies) here instead. Give the bro's something to chuckle about over their morning cup o' joe, or Jack Daniels...
Was trying to clarify my previous thoughts on your saga and came up with this: I've have found that after almost 2 years and 5 trips to see my TGF (most of those a month at a time -- hey, the economy in California sucks so I am enjoying my time off), plus phone bills equal to the US trade deficit (CG, I am using Thaitel now, khop khun khup), things have settled into normalcy, or what passes for that in Thailand. It's like the comment I made in another thread, once you have the g/f or wife or partner, then you deal with the mundane in life -- getting up next to the same person every day. Not really a bad thing, just different. Your TGF actually sounds like a real sweetheart.
I always dread when women approach their mid-30's because the hair gets cut, the middrift bulges, the mini-skirts and gogo boots are put away, and it can have a disastrous effect on the old Johnson, little blue pill notwithstanding. At least in Asia, women have the decency to hold on to their femininity.
But we all get old, and doing it with someone with a good heart is worth a lot. My TGF is not the most beautiful in LOS, not the best I've had in the sack, not a lot of other things, but she has one of the kindest hearts I've ever seen. And so far (knock on wood) shows no signs of avarice, beyond the normal Thai stuff. She is sticking to our plan. I'm sure if I looked in the mirror and wiped away the rose colored mist, I would see her thinking the same about me (okay, minus the kind heart part)  .
Your tongue-in-cheek saga tells me your TGF is much the same. I'm 46, she's 25, so our needs are probably a tad different than yours, and it really boils down to what a punter wants. And if you aren't happy, then maybe someone else fits that bill. I get the impression you like the relationship you have with her -- it's fun to share things and build those commonalities. But like you, I expect the sex to be at a certain level, and the looks too, regardless of age. I'm trying to set these patterns early in our relationship, not sure how much it will matter in the longterm. I've met a number of married farang/Thai couples in LOS (some together almost 20 years now) and they are very happy. Most of these guys met their partners in the bar scene.
For me, I find the whole s/t thing gets kinda predictable after a while. I love the variety and newness of it, it keeps me sexually interested in my TGF (she doesn't know about this, but suspects, of course), but I do it far less often now. If I find a s/t lady that I really have a good time with, my heart always wants to take it further. That seems to be my natural proclivity. So the longterm thing with my TGF fits the bill, just not sure if it will survive. I am sure there are many tempests yet in the storm seas on the horizon.
Just some rambling thoughts over morning brew (no JD). Am enjoying the rather tongue-in-cheek chronicle here, and am looking forward to the C/M chapter.

BB You are running along the same theme man.
The plan I had has worked so anyone know the ways of thai come come up with the answer.
Iwill post dates etc, and as you do not know lady no harm done.
I ask her for her passport to put her details with mine for the trip.
Remember her birthday was on the 11.11.03.
now her passport show her date of birth as 1.10.67.
I ask her why the difference and she told me her mother kept for two years, I make a guess befor she register her, in law what does one have to show to get a passport?

She then with out any asking, showed me her bankbook. She said she had had to all her money back to sister to pay for people to gather her rice harvest, the only medium size entry was mine.
Now. after a long journey last night, we went to night market, and on the way back I saw a fantastic dress.
I said you like, she nodded so I gave her the money, not a lot.She said 'ok if I save money, and not get frock"
of course I say 350 bht, christ.
I get back to the room, have shower and just lay on the bed, she shower and the came over and said LOL
"My pleroid nearly fininish, I make you happy."
I didn.t even ask.
Lord I knew after all you love this farang.
If you have all read what balls has written above,
you will see that we run along the same theme in as much as we have never cheated on each other while here.
She thinks the sun shines out my arse, and treats me like a king and at last we have sanook together.
and I realised today that at mine age, its not that big deal if the person you are with is something special.
I realise now she is.
from humble comments to a expierence in life.
I rest my case.

I would guess that many of the members really feel for you. Some may have had similar experiences. I doubt whether that eases the pain and I think the heart attack is emotional and not physical. It would be easy to say, "Loads more outside, throw a stick and you will hit six more available, all ready and waiting!"
That is not the point, you have built a relationship and now it looks like from the outside it is being trashed.
I am sure that many would like to advise and yet feel it is so difficult to do. It would be easy to say, "bloody Thais all the same!" I am sure this situation could happen in any country, higher chances in a Third World country with a VERY different culture but all the same she could be Czech or even French !
It is after all about the PERSON not the culture or the country. We are taught in the West that past a certain age we cannot learn or be taught much that is new.
How wrong 'they' are. Life is a continual learning process.
I know these books come in for criticism but try if you have not already read them the 'Celestine Prophecy' and the 'Insight' books by James Redfield. They may not help your present situation but they may lead you to a coincidental journey where you leave your troubles behind. I have just started 'The Secret of Shambala' and no doubt this will coincidently lead me to my own Shangri-La?

And have come to accept what ever comes in a day I accept.
