I don't know about GT, but the best place to watch the Superbowl is either Bourbon Street (Washington Sq., Soi 22) or Larry's Dive (Soi 22). Both places are packed with fans. Out of these, I far prefer Bourbon Street for the game, more TVs. Also, Larry's Dive requires reservations.

I notice all of the Southern Californians have suddenly misplaced their key boards.

I watched it in Saudi and must admit it was a great game on both sides of the ball. Either team could have won but the fact remains that UT pulled it out at the end and the final score is the only thing that counts.
The only real question that I have now is...did the wrong guy win the Heisman?
I hope you guys in Thailand got to watch it live.

Yes, EPC, what a great game. Watched it with NotNanaHottie - I love her too much  Young sure looked impressive!
I nominate Leinart for "Class act of the year"  when he said after the game (something like) - "yeah we lost but we're still a better team". The boy should learn some manners.

I think it is obvious who should have won the Heisman. But most voters never saw Young play, and his playing time was limited by the many blowouts that UT had during the season.
It is amazing that Vince Young finished the season as the 3rd rated passer in the NCAA (statistically), but he also gained over 1000 yards rushing (which does not count in the QB ratings). This is important, because QB sacks do not count in the QB rating if no pass is attempted, and sacks count as yards lost in rushing.
This is not the first time there has been "buyer’s remorse" over the Heisman pick. There is so much bias toward selecting a player from a championship team, that voters have to predict the outcome of bowl games that have not been played yet before casting their Heisman votes. The Heisman voting needs to be moved to after the bowl games, just like the final team rankings.

Thai TV Channel 7 had the Superbowl broadcast every year that I've lived here, but the commentary is in Thai. It's a bit amusing to listen to a Thai person commenting about the game. You don't even have to leave your hotel bed and TG to watch it!

I agree with you on this one. Young was clearly head and shoulders the best player on the field that day and probably for the entire season.
For the Heisman voters though, it is hard to vote against 34-0.
