Maybe you been in Thailand too long when you do ANY of the following:-
•You are not surprised when you walk into an empty restaurant and they ask if you have booked
•You greet the flower seller in the bar as a long lost friend
•You turn down sex with a girl because she is blond
•You drink the coffee (and don’t notice that a sachet of white powder is not a great replacement for milk)
•You routinely give away your car to a stranger outside a restaurant without a receipt
•You think in a restaurant it is normal to spend much more on wine than food
•You sing along to thai pop songs (I believe… I believe… I believe…)
•You get an sms ‘I miss you so much’ and you don’t know who it is from
•You have absolutely no idea of the name of the girl you last slept with
•You start putting toilet paper in little plastic bins
•You ask for a spoon when you are eating Thai food in a restaurant
•You only eat a quarter of what you have ordered
•You think it is normal for a guy to say hello to you when you walk in a toilet
•You keep the television on the whole time even if you aren’t watching anything
•You are convinced that all the pretty girls on the BTS find you really attractive
•You know what is meant by an ‘afterparty’
•You can discuss strategy for ‘connect 4’
•Errrr and yes… you understand all of the above

I didn't originate this one but I do think it also applies...
you know you have lived in Thailand long enough when you can't park a car in an empty car park without some guy blowing a whistle and waving you in.
additionally, I would add, You have twisted your ankle at least once a month just trying to navigate the sidewalks even while being sober.

HMMMM... How about you are walking down a Soi (on the ankle busting sidewalk) and hear a car horn beep from way behind. Then it beeps again, then again and again all the time getting closer. Finally the car pulls along side and beeps slowing to a near stop.
It is a cab and you are looked at like the crazy Falang that you are because the driver can't believe you actually don't need the ride or prefer to walk.
