OK guys here goes... Dare I portray the devil's advocate in this discussion of class? Not sure?
Living in the US we do not have too much in the way of so called "Old Money" families since we are a relatively new country.I feel there is not really much of a tradition of class structure here. Myself I come from a family background where my father was a auto mechanic. He was poorly educated but brilliant and my hero. He was from the south and by all accounts would be considered a "Redneck." In my life I have never forgotten these roots and consider many of my good friends to be of the same Redneck variety.
I have worked hard and paid my own way through life and I am doing much better financially than the average American though not rich.
Whats my point? Well, since I have by most accounts "Made it" in a financial sense I find myself a lot less interested in "Trailer trash Women" does this come from the fact that they have less money? NO! It comes from the fact that I would be embarassed and bored to be with A LOT of these ladies because they present themselves poorly. IE dress very tacky with no style and their speech patterns and poor social skills reveal how ignorant they are.
NOTE I said A LOT of these ladies. I really have had no problem being with ladies who come from simple backgrounds like myself. What I am less tolerant of is someone who is unwilling to strive to better themselves. Lazy, tacky, trashy people can be found in all groups but let's be honest here, I think more may be found in the less affluent groups of any society.
Do I consider myself a hi-so snob? F+ck no! Do I tolerate trash at any level? F+ck no! When I am in LOS enjoying P4P I am almost certainly enjoying the company of ladies from simple backgrounds. As a few bros can attest (Madfrog,Smoky) I gravitate to the ladies with a bit of grace and demure ladylike behavior characteristics coupled with a touch of style. Is this snobbery? I think not.
I avoid people who I "classify" as trashy but it is based solely on how they present themselves and interact with me and those around them. This has Zero to do with bank accounts or lineage.
I feel some flaming coming......

I do not agree with the premise class is "born into you". If you are referring to the style in which people carry themselves, IMO, this is a learned trait.
If you are referring to social caste they are part of, ie. as in India, that might be one place where you are stuck with your lot in life. Even having said that, if a beautiful low caste girl in India married a rich man, her lot and that of her family would change immediately.

Do you think that another item to add to the axis is sexual preferrence? Can a LB or transvestite or homosexual move into a different social level without having to remain in the closet?
Lotsa talk about who sticks their willie where as a determining factor of their lot in life.

Anway, to sort-of 'wrap' my part of this up...
Hypothetical future scene at work:
Jafa and catty/bitchy colleague get into lift. A couple of office-worker cuties from neighboring floor get in.
Jafa smiles at the cutie (he'd mentioned to forum bros) that he'd been noticing, and then some. Cutie smiles back. Fair-skinned, long wavy hair, petite. From the group of girls deemed 'low-class' by Jafa's colleague.
Jafa's colleague notices, says nothing at first.
Other girls get off at their floor.
Door closes. Colleague is about to burst, curious.
"You two know each other?"
Jafa: "Yup."
Door at office floor opens.
Jafa starts to walks out. "And I just had sex with her last night." 
Jafa's colleague is speechless as he strides away. Colleague is shell-shocked, has to almost leap out of the lift before it shuts her in.

Antiquated view, since many of those 'born into class' are doing a damn good job at contradicting your statement.
"Class comes from within" is probably what you were trying to say, unfortunately, this conversation is not about that kind of 'class', but rather the one borne out of a caste-type system.
