We were a bit surprised when we found the following in notstickmanbangkok.com (26.10.2006) :
"HEY, is Stick buying dinner for at his writers meeting at Livingstones? After all, you guys are helping to put bread on his table. Perhaps I'll take a table close by and just "nosey" over there. Will police be watching? Who knows
If everyone pays for themselves, how much is Livingstone's paying Stick to host the event? Stick gets a commission doesn't he?"
Mr. Galt is obviously somebody who attracts readers with speculative statements. If he wants to know whether Livingstone's pays Stickman to host an event he could have asked us.
Up to now he never contacted us, but he wrote this nonsense in his website. That shows the quality of his work.
Whether Stickman hosts an event in Livingstone's or not - that's up to Stickman to confirm. But let's assume he does - then he will pay to us, and we will not pay to him. Organizing events is one of our core businesses.
Mr. Galt, we would prefer not to be mentioned on your "exceptional" website. Once your site has developed from a simple plagiarism and criticism of the ideas of others to a real website with content we will reconsider.

It's also a strawpoll - seeing as how he does not publish the results, and seeing as how he also takes the option of deciding whatever he wants.
Kinda like his last 'poll' about outing all the PIs working in Thailand doing BG investigations.
Maybe it'd be worth it to write him, just so *WE* know how many 'votes' on the issue he's received.

Not a huge Stick fan but I find him worth a read. NSM/Galt is just another blogger trying to build a site based on someone elses work. His writing sort of reminds me of Dirty Guru without the spellchecker.
The lesson to be learned here is that if your an expat you better be careful what you post or blog because guys like this are lurking around looking for trouble.
I guess it's all fun and games until someone gets an eye poked out or an ice pick jabbed into the base of thier skull.
