I gave up a good income once like BK... but 2 years ago I accepted a position back in Australia for 2.5 years
I have 6 months to go
(but its in this time...ducking over to Los for breaks that I butterfly)
No she doesnt tolerate My butterflying and hard as it is to believe I have only been caught once-
Now I am finishing a 2.5 year contract in Australia I have butterflied alot in Thailand mostly Pattaya-
But having Two Passports and a cell phone on roaming I get away with that as I send a fair bit to invest in our business and farm when I do-
Ie 5 days Butterfly send 20,000 that keeps them happy-
As for country life - its hogwash if you have never tried it-
When I did - I truely enjoyed it-
Times have Changed harold the world is much smaller-
Gone are the days when if you said you were going to Thailand "people branded you a sex tourist"
Its a common place to holiday-
Gone are the days if you meet a girl there "people assume she is a worker from the sex industry'
Jason my ex wives brother met a girl who is highly educated and well recieved here-
He lived in Bangkok-
Harold I dont choose to butterfly - its a habit-
I do like my wife even love her perhasp-
Its a conflict -
But I havent hurt her so far - I have improved her quality of life-
I have her as a place to go - where I can be me- be good - live simply- a place of the heart-
There is nothing wrong with finding such a place-
When I return my Buterflying is going to be restricted to a few times a year-
And that wont be easy if its south in pattaya -
To Blonk-
Its atypical for thais to free load - it was good your standing up to not being the "golden Goose"...but always tell them before hand as "ultimately" the girlfriend will have to pay.
I have had zillions of instances over the years where Thais just sat and ordered thinking and expecting as such-
I only decided a few years ago to take on the position of "when I offer" you can expect-
Family and close friends of hers sure I guess-
But Thais really are at times parasites-
Even when I pay for the cambodians to harvest the crops at 150 baht each a day and meals over 3 - 4 days usually 20 workers..(total cost about 12,000 baht or $425 USD......
I see none of the profits!
But why I do it as I see the total harvest and know its worth-
They cant ask me for shit-
Unless they are f***ed and in some hospital bed-
Blonk there is a long road ahead-
But you are showing signs of wanting to take a more "measured approach"
Another thing that keeps Cropping up in threads is Crying woman being believed-
Just trust me "things are not always as they appear"
Western womans biggest objection to men ahanging out with asian hookers is they develop an ability to see through the illusion that woman are truthful and honest in their Manipulations of men-

Woman have really advanced their cause in the west -

But they are not in the Asian woman league when it comes to acting-
Asian woman are so much more Truthful on a whole that when they act it either comes off as transpearnt or believed-
I have seen woman in Bangkok (who I just f*** ) seeing off a customer on departure level tears streaming down their faces and lip quivering -
Then when he goes through customs and I approoach and say "nice act" she says "how was your flight ?>>""Thanks"
She will go on to explain he was a nice German guy who sent money and the acting was important-
Chilli in eyes help, but mostly its make believe-
Brother got sucked in by a triple AAA grade performance-
We all have at one stage-
Just like going to a "play " over and over and over eventually you learn the lines-
I have had them on ledges - swim out to sea- put a razor on their wrists etc

I have not read many posts on this thread....
but my situation is this, I didnt pay a single satang! married a thai chick...girl friend for 2.5 years, when I lived over there, and my parents met her parents/family on the 2 trips they took over......same same as farang GF's!
married since 2005 and still never had to give one dime...ok, I have sent nice gifts over from time to time...and always bring gifts back on trips...but talking like maybe 2K over 5 years...nothing big!
Now, my wife has sent half her paycheck back for 5 years...but whatever, that makes her feel good to do that......
It is possible to meet a hot, jai dee, thai chick and marry them and not deal with any drama

Ok - villagers (as harold calls them) Make up most of the Bangkok and Pattaya and Phuket and other p4p areas _ prostitutes-
So when Harry asks "whats the advantage of marrying a villager "?- be clear we are talking in most cases same same-

Anyhow I shouldnt bother replying but here I go-
I am a hardliner - But if you read carefully would know I have been working In Australia 2 years so - When I am here I do send some money- (read often when I am about to Butterfly) IE go back to Pattaya on sneaky trip-
As for Farm land its in great shape -
the cambodians are used as cheaper labor at harvest time-
Again I pointed out why I employ them (they cut it quick and the rice bales counted so I know profits)
Over a year it saves me alot-
Hardliner doesnt mean disconnected it means not being taken as a fool-
Harold many guys here know I married lived up country just as many writing here have alot of experience in p4p and living in the country-
We are trying to impart that understanding-
Sure you dont have to side with us or even believe but its plain silly to call them Villagers when 75-80% of the hookers are from farms also-
(marrying a bar girl is marrying a villager also- just f***ed more and alittle less naieve
