It was, Sticks always made that clear. I enjoy Sticks writings, I don't read the reader submissions, I don't read any other part of the site except his weekly column, for no other reason to see what someone else's opinion is on the week past.
Keep on going Stick, looking forward to your next column. You certainly have plenty of material if you decide to use it.

Actually, there wasn't much to 'expose', as it wasn't news that stick was running adverts - and as for his claim that he gave preferential treatment to advertisers, well, not only is that just a claim from some guy with a chip on his shoulder, but even if that were the case, does that lessen stickman's site?

If the site was'nt worth reading then why did NSM/Galt spend so much time building his site based on Stick's BS ?
I would estimate 450 manhours went into the content Galt put together. My estimate is so high because obviously the guy is an amateur.
Some jealous bar owners and local PI's were pissed at Stick and wanted a pound of flesh. Then they throw out the statement that Stick's site was for Newbies and Cherry Boy's. So if it was, why would some BKK expats have this hard-on for a guy who appeals to such a demographic.
Why don't these "Elite" group of BKK expats build thier own site that appeals to a Chateau Jade type crowd with non-stop Cleveland Steamers with translucent speculums and nipple crushing titty twisters. Whatever it is that this "Elite" group of BKK Ex-Pats crave target that market and leave Stick alone.

If John Galt is the same guy as the asian lights ebayer, then he is very good at webpage building,
His ebay ads are great, maybe some of the best I have seen for cheap parts,
but those photos that is hosted somewhere off the ebay site,
only a fool would think this is over, too much ego around : (

One word: templates!
Third party tools make it very easy to create great looking eBay adverts, without any ability.

texas, are you as dumb as dirt like Bush?? Is there something in the water there?? or did you just spend too many years drinking too much so that your mind isn't working all that well any more
I never built a website.. so I can think that SM was a waste of time..
you just muddy the water by changing the subject... and your estimate of the time it took to build a website is crazy.. I know a few guys that could do that in their spare time.. in not many hours at all..
The guys I know that spend a lot of time in Bkk have mostly just left SM behind as he is inaccurate and fills his site with mostly reader's garbage.. most of which is also inaccurate or just opinions that are often way off
He feeds on those that are either 1) bored or 2) don't really know that much about Thailand and so think that SM is a reliable source..
SM is fine for entertainment, but as NSM points out, not really that good a site
maybe NSM's comments will improve the quality of SM.. that might be good..
