I know, the answer is that for most people on here, Bangkok is an area defined between Soi 1 and Soi 33 “Sukhumvit”.
BTW China Sailor - hows the corporate lunch menu at McDonalds these days???

The point, made succinctly and well by Yurune, is that Thai people should not have to be told where they can and cannot walk by those who are guests in their country.
Technically, Sukhumwit is a perfectly legit location to walk, and realistically, things should remain contained within NEP and SC in those areas -- the problem arises from assholes that assume *ALL* Thai women are hookers, or other assholes that decide that just because she was being where she shouldn't have been (!) that 'she was asking for it'

ITALIAN : meaning he thinks he is gods gift to women. A real loverboy. Every woman is his prey. And since most italian males live till their 50's with their mother (this has been survayed, I did not make this up) they would not know what to do to a woman when they meet one. Grabbing a girl would make it clear what he wants. And since he is gods gift, how on earth can she refuse.
THUG : He is a thug, he looks like a thug (he said it him self) and he acts like a thug. So yes he would dare it in his (or any other country) and as quack will find out, the brits or dutch would probably look the other way in fear of being beaten to a bloody pulp.
Police are never where they should be, so it is a sorry world we live in, but I bet he has gotten away with it in the past, and will probably do so for a long time. Don't expect some office boy to jump on this guys back. Also most european countries don't have a LAPD (remember Rodney King) kind of police force, so the worst he would face is somebody lifting an eyebrow.
So crime does pay.

This has happened to me as well! Luckily for this coward it was while exiting the skytrain in broad daylight. My TGF is not p4p, not from BKK and had never even been on the skytrain before. She didn't even know about NEP or Cowboy. I am not sure if I would be able to restrain myself if it happened on Sukhumvit. I certainly wouldn't have back home. In my group of friends these thugs are dealt with accordingly.
I can understand that GTG's better stay away from Sukhumvit, when they are on their own, although I do think we are way out of line to tell Thai where they should or shouldn't go. But no one can honoustly mean that a Westerner with a GTG should not eat, sleap, drink or do anything along Sukhumvit. It's kinda like the girl in the miniskirt who gets raped, and then people telling her she asked for it by wearing a miniskirt.
This might be a stupid question from a relative newbie; but what would the MIB do if they were nearby?
