Must agree with Isee, mud-slinging is just 'sticks-and-stones', not to be taken too seriously. Personal threats, however, are over the line. But not sure thailife is worth pissing on  maybe sprewed on is better?

I find both viewpoints to be valid.
I would not have been in this forum - if not for the TG.
I would not have been gunning for TG's asses if I had enough of these within my reach closer to home. Therefore, I am a loser, in a kind of way. (Or course there will be variations - but loser you are. Accept it and proceed to the next TG. Have a loser's ball. There are several other fields where you are a winner)
Thai culture is great - but so is that of many many other places in the world. Unfortunately, by comparision, the TG pussy is greater. Therefore, you have more travellers seeking the pussy than seeking the culture. What are you complaining about? It's a free market - and you attract the customers who want your wares. Change your wares if you want other types of customers.
Everything is in perfect "synergy" at Bkk - and also at this forum. That's what I love about this city - and this forum.

I think you are probably right.
Most people seem to feel a lot of pressure to conform where I come from.
A lot of guys would never go to Thailand because they are afraid of what people would think about them or say about them.
One guy was telling me he would never go there because there is child prostitution there.
Like I shouldn't go either.
He was from the Phillipines.
He was a Christian guy who apparently didn't know what went on in his country of origin.
A lot of guys I know make the same money as me but say they can't afford to go abroad anywhere.
But they are involved in a lot of status buying and keeping up with the Joneses kind of stuff.
Also, there is just a large segment of the population who it would never occur to them to go to LOS.
I guess there are lots of people here who would never go, so I think you are right about it not being a cross-section, at least where I come from.

Havn't read all the thread but picked on the last few pages.
As a teenager and into my 20s and 30s I had no problem meeting and picking up girls. in my early 20s I worked as a roady and a picture of the group was a ticket to ride. But then after two marrages went down the pan, marrage and working away doesn't work.
Then my life changed with a posting to Asia and I can tell you Thailand doesn't make you a loser. It makes you a go getter, you go flat out to make money so you can get back amongst it.
What Thailand does make you is disfunctional, went back to the UK last spring and boy what a shock. If you talk to a female you almost get accused of rape, their unkept scruffy bags who when you do manage to get em back home after costing you a second mortgage. it's one bonk and they want to sleep. No bed making washing up, ironing yer shirts nothing!!!
had to jump a plane in June for a 10 day infusion of light browned skinned bliss.
But alas 10 days wasn't enough so in September I jumped on the parafin buggie to KL and have been knee deep in bliss ever since.
Dont worry about what they say back home, just take a girl back for a holiday and see what they say then.
The guys will be as jealuse as f--k, the girls will be as frightened as f--k when they see what miss LoS is doing for you. My daughters loved it as Miss PI was a wonder with my grand kids, though they did ask me if I was going to settle down with an Asian lady please would I choose one at least 2 years older than them!!!!!!!
