So if Stickman even is 2 minutes late with his weekly column every week he writes a paragraph about it. This week he does not mention a word why he missed a complete week and why his site was down except that maybe his site will change in the future.
I guess the head in sand approach is what he is taking.
This week's article about him chasing down a motorcycle guy just shows after years living here he still has not learned the Thai way.

Although probably well known Stick [ apart from being a fellow Kiwi ] is a friend of mine, still think I can add an impartial comment.
2 points come to me from this current situation ;
1. If Notstickman [ and it is relatively common knowledge who he is, what his business is in Thailand etc etc ] is serious about an updated, better site, then that is great, and sure, an initial post or two knocking sticks site to get noticed, or to show he has better [?] ideas is I guess OK, but to continue in that vein, shows he lacks the credibilty and/or knowledge to have his own site stand on its own -
2. I would agree, that perhaps of late, Sticks site is not what it was - when your relatively knew and fresh to LOS, you can post some great stuff... I think I even posted some indepth commentaries here 5 or 6 years ago ! - But with time, you get to the stage where you are repeating yourself, or tired of the same old routine, and yes, hard to believe, but after years of going into go-go bars etc, it can become 'almost' boring - I know I got to a stage when I usually spent more time watching the punters than the dancers.... very sad !
So I dont doubt Galt as he uses, has a point, - but the fact is, like 'Trink" - Stick provided alot of information for newbies over the years, and by and large has done a good service to those interested in LOS. If someone feels they can revitalise, or improve a Stickman type weekly, thats good, but do it on their own bat.
A slanging match, or what may well develop into something more heavy, wont do either any good.

Not according to him - he claims steadfast that only ONE person in Thailand is able to identify him (notwithstanding the fact that dozens following the same trail, came to the same conclusion). The problem, I think, is that the guy believes his own hype.

the new update on the notstickman site is wild.
i don't understand the problem with making money off a web site. that's why you have a site to begin with and now bringing up tax evasion and things like that only serve to make a bigger problem.
well, I guess if you go for the throat, you go all the way. but one should never mess with someones life like that, there just isn't any reason to ruin a guy..... unless.......... maybe there is more to the story than we know, but if this is all it was about............
