Is Trink really gone? Reference made in last week's Stickman to last week's niteowl's column being the last. Looked on-line today in BKK Post RealTime - no Niteowl column. Vacation or end of several decades of reporting?

I'll be sorry to see him go. Before this board was up and running Trinks column was one of the few places you could get info on BKK.
First time I came to BKK back in 99 the only place I knew was Annie's massage and it was near the Rajah Hotel. Trink turnded me on to it.
Trink lost a step or two over the years but every friday, I always logged on to read his column. I hope he enjoys his retirment as much as I enjoy mine.

I also appreciate what Trink has done for Bkk nitelife, when I first arrived in the early 70s his column was the be all to end all..... http://www.bkktonight in years in gone bye.
I see the people on this site who knock him and can only say.... you really dont know........end of story.
Bernard thanks for all those tips over the years and may you enjoy retirmement...a lot of us do appreciate your fine work.

Yep, every friday, that was my 1st download. And agree with you, before this forum, he was THE reference as to what was going on. Like you, found Annie's via Trink. Will miss him.
