I am of chinese, but born in Canada and I mainly speak english...will I get a farang boosted price when I try to get laid?
Any benefit of me being chinese in Bangkok?

At reputable establishments you should be treated as a non-farang (Asian). Ý
At dives, you'll still be penalized for not speaking Thai.

Sadly there is racism in this country (I thought that was what the post was about) but obviously being Chinese isn't a problem in a country that has such a large and influential ( some might say dominant) Chinese Thai community.
I don't know about advantages but I do know that when my chinese friend from the US came, he had a bit of a time because everyone assumed he was Chinese Thai and spoke to him in Thai.

There's some racism in this country. I don't really like it. As some of the girls do not like specific races. Many ,however, fancy other races. I think it all depends on the girl.

same profile here and i've never been given a marked-up price. the only times i've been ripped off happened during my maiden tour to bkk. we were lead to an ms place by a tout in a taxi (double whammy).

The times I got "jacked" were by our one of our private drivers. He made a side deal with a couple clubs and the first times we visited, they raised their rates to almost double. We found out that he would go back later and split the extra charge with the manager. He was of course fired on the spot and we replaced him with a more truthworthy driver. Get this. We were paying 6,000 baht for the fish bowl at Mirage and up to 10,000 for the super stars!! Talk about throwing away good money and just think how much our driver was getting since there was atleast 4 of us going at a time, and sometimes 8 of us!!
But, back to the topic thread. I guess being asian is a bonus!!

As I have mentioned before the premium charged for farangs in most cases is due to the girls having to work harder. But in your case ABC you must be a big dick as well as being asian so perhaps its not bad having to pay a few hundred baht more as a farang!!!!!
