Whilst checking out a hotel rate I noticed they were giving discount because there is a Bangkok gay parade on, what date is this as I will be in BKK 14-18 Nov and I may need to take a Cork!
Also a TG said to me there is a national holiday in November when is this, and do the bars close?
she said something about coconut leaves wrapped around Banana and thrown into the River.

Thanks for the heads up, I was worried the bars would be closed.
if the Gay parade turns into a Rio type carnival the Hotel rates will go sky high during that period.
Possibly the Pharmicies do not have any 'deals' on KY gel!

I googled the event and see it lasts for a week, Sun 14th Nov party at Lumphini Park and the parade is on Sunday 21st, fortunately I'll be in Pattaya by then.
One thing that does concern me is Hotel deals may be thin on the ground for Bangers. I have a chance of Landmark for £47 per night so I may just see if it's available before it's too late.
