Play is much better during the rainy season, since most places dont water their fariways too much. Its interesting playing the mountain courses if you like snakes and lizzards.

Played Chiangmai-Lamphun Golf Club in the mountains 25km outside of Chiang Mai last week. Its considered one of the best courses in Chiang Mai. Price was great! 2 lady driver companions, 2 caddies, 2 golf carts, 2 players and 18 holes of golf for 3000 baht. Around the water holes, saw 3 large blue lizards and 4 green skinny tree snakes. Almost stepped on one. Course is difficult. Fairways on the back nine are narrow and dry. Play irons and lofted clubs or all your balls will runoff the green. Lamphun has the front nine lighted for night golf. I understand no one plays though due to the fear of snakes at night. Cheers! formen
