I am in the importing business and do a lot of purchasing from Thailand and China.
A lot of times I will source out products on the internet and place an order with e-mail and western union or T/T the money to the factory/company.
In the last 5 years I have NEVER been f***ed around by anybody except for 1 time this year. I placed an order for 100 pieces of a novelty item that I found in Bangkok, I wired the money to a Thai friend in Bangkok and she paid Mr. X the sourcing agent, including International priority, FedEx, shipping for my order.
I received my order 2 weeks later (FedEx f***ed up on the shipping time) but it was only 1/2 of what I ordered, and 10 days late. I requested a shipping refund from Mr. X but he told me that FedEx would not refund the shipping charges. He informed me that he would send the balance of my order so I would have it before Christmas, guess what? I got f***ed, he does not return my phone calls faxes or e-mails.
If anybody wants this c***s name and address as a heads up please PM me and I will gladly give it to you. I know anybody can rip a person off but this guy happens to be from New Jersey and has a sourcing company in Bangkok, next time I am going to steer clear from small falang owned Asian companies.

I hate to generalize but in this case I will from my experiences there are more useless pricks per capita in New Jersey than any other state in the U.S.
