Gonna be in BKK for 2 days with mostly after hours work. I will be free in the afternoons. I like BG7 but wanna know if there are any similar places open now. I UTFSE and came up with dated info.
I like the relaxed beer bar attitude with loadsa pussy, even though the quality can sometimes be dubious.
Is there anywhere else like this in the Suk area that is doing well right now?

There are all the beer bars on Soi 4, many of which open late morning. There is Suhkumvit 22 and Washington Square (off 22 if u were not aware), there are many pool bars all over, in soi 4 and elsewhere. There is Gullivers, soi 5. You cannot really get bored.

There's also the bars outside NEP like Big Dogs and Morning Night. Also a few other bars down Soi 4 open as well during the day.

Ok Scobie....the guy was asking where he could find bars open. Answer, plenty of places. And I am sure if someone was with u, they couldn't possibly get bored.
Edge asked about soi 11. Not much there in daytime. There is a place called the Joke Club about 150 meters into the soi from suhkumvit, on the right. Has some good lookers but most of them work nights. Does have free internet though and a pool table.

Thanks for the afternoon advice.
Just got back from BKK. jeez, BG7 does look tatty and dirty in the rainy season. Still found a cutie there although there is a lot of dross to push aside before you find a decent one. The Playboy short time is still good with the round bed and mirrors.
Sat outside on Soi 4 but it is weird during the daytime. A load of drunk farangs teasing pussy with the rest of the "normal" world going about their business. People shopping, going to the office, a bus of school kids etc. Then in the middle of this, right on the road side, this heap of mao partyers chasing hookers!!
Soi 8 had a few nice bars, found a nice girl in one of them. Good food too. Hell, BKK needs the cloak of darkness to hide its crappy streets. Night time makes it look so much better. Then again, NY and Chicago would get the same comment.
The only night I got out was a rainy one in Patpong. The rain is good because it keeps the market shoppers away and the cops don't seem to want to get their nice browns wet, so the bars are open till 2:30 am. Anyway, that's when I left. Lots of girls on the street outside the new open sided music bars next to Superstar. Few punters. Found two sweeties for neung paan, neung paan OK.
Seemed to be happy to have a warm bed with food and drink thrown in. A good time was had by all.
Thanks for the help guys, it made a quick work trip a lot more fun than I thought it was gonna be.
