Posted an earlier question re my mate who has been blacklisted in the UAE for financial affairs. We contacted thai Canadian embassy in BKK to run a check to see if he was on the shitlist, and came back negative. Does this mean that every check has been done? Interpol, warrants, whatever? Does thai immigration care about that stuff or just serious offenders wanted internationally for major crimes? Hope someone can post. First time trip for him but I think he is gonna bail on me. Just want some input.

I'm wondering why you are running around with such dodgy characters to begin with. I agree with humbug, but I would go even farther. I suggest you tell him to stay at home and take care of his bills instead of spending all his money on pussy in Thailand.

Agree, adding: check for extradition treaty between UAE and Thailand for the 'financial' offence committed. If no treaty or specific offence not listed: 100% off the hook. Can come to eat TH honey if have money. Never mind dodgy expatriate impotents that hang around here 55555.
