My wife wants to use the ice cubes for serving me Tom Yum Papapong whilst I need the ice cubes for my Gin & Tonic.
Conflict resolution suggestions pls.
Both uses are supposed to be for me.
(I have already chosen an approach which we can compare later)

The issue was resolved by applying the concept of Ying & Yang with the concept of Time.
Ying & Yang - Natural Harmony - means that Ice Cubes fit naturally both with Tom Yum Papapong and with Gin & Tonic.
The concept of Time here means that Gin & Tonic follows naturally after my dinner but before I have a shower. During this time the 2nd generation of ice cubes can freeze again and then we eat Tom Yum Papapong,
I empahzise, Do NOT, I repeat, Do Not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SUBMIT to a discussion about the General Theory of Relativity, i.e. where it is mathematically proven that the succession of events defies human LOGIC. Do not go into the trap letting your wife approach cultural conflicts on this basis.
Although we ( that is, I for one) do not understand the General Theory of Relativity, Thai Wifey may just convince herself that you do not, and you will loose.
It gets even worse with Quantum Physics, if your Thai Lady and you reside in Germany and she tries to approach it on the basis of Heisenberg*s Uncertainty Principle, like "Why do you need Ice Cubes for your Gin & Tonic when you may or may NOT have one"?

right on frank la rue! I often compaare thai cultural life and social rules with Quantum Physics I.E. they are both dificult to understand for the comon man and alot of those who think and act like they know thai culture and social life by reading some guide book and a few 2 weeks trips with a holidaytour company they dont have a clue.
If you think you understand it you havent got a clue.
Quantum Physics = thai social life most people dosen`t have a clue.

Don't you know that the recently reinforced String theory is capable of harmonizing both the General Theory of Relativity and Quantum Physics???
