I don't think many of you may be familiar with Louis Theroux a broadcaster who sprang to fame in Britain with his series called "Weird Weekends". In 2000 he screened on BBC a hilarious (as all his series are) documentary about mail Thai Brides. I've come across the series on youtube, split in 6 parts as it's almost a hour long. His subtle sarcasm, taking the mick of his subjects, without them realising it, it's a British hallmark. Although he's half American he speaks English in the proper way.

The vids shed the light on the shennanigans of dating agencies in Bangkok and there are some real saddos / characters.My favourite is Ronnie, a BKK agency owner, a typical a 1940's British bounder, cheesy and calculating smile on his face. Priceless.

you are right, youtube is currently banned in Thailand, still BTF's bros who reside outside the kingdom will def enjoy the videos. Maybe you can access banned sites using a proxy server; here some tips

UTubeProxy.org was workin' for a while, but I think that one has been blocked or something now also

and I hear they blocked it by blocking the IP address via the CAT routers, which means that an anonymizer wouldn't do much good

I doubt if even a Macbook Pro 15" 2.33GH Intel Core 2 Duo could access it, 555

Lake Palmer was the saddo of this story, he had a personality disorder and was on medication for it. He rushed into the marriage and paid a high price: Lake Palmer's story. It makes uncomfortable reading for all those guys following the same path.

Still, what a good story could have been, if it had worked. Lake Palmer & Jad (his short-lived Thai wife) having a son named Emerson

Had a couple of Bitish aquaintances that turned me on to this guy back in "02/"03 and he is brilliant...have you ever seen his mockumentary on the bodybuilder in the states..priceless!!!!

Thanks for the reminder and I will watch the youtube links you posted for a laugh and nice reminder of a couple dudes I had some good times with but havent been touch with in 3 or 4 years.
