Lads,
I need assistance locating a friend of mine. He came to BKK with me back at the end of May. He went back to Ireland for week and then back to Bangkok (supposedly for a few days).
His family and GF (Japanese) are very worried as he's not been in touch for over a week, they have no way to get in touch him. I'm his best mate and I know he may have been walking a little left of center while in Bangkok and as we all know, things can happen.
His Name is Martin, He owns a pub in Japan. He's Irish, 42 years old (looks older). He's about 6' tall and 210-230lbs.
He's got thining hair (on top) and he's got really bad teeth (I mean REALLy BAD!)... He doesn't actually dress well, more like a back-packer maybe.
The last word anybody had on him he claimed he was on Crutches due to a sprained ankle (maybe a lie).
He has changed hotels so no idea what area he's in in BKK. (He may have also gone to Phuket, or slighly less of a possiblity, Pattaya)
While in BKK, he probably never wandered much further than Suk soi 4 - Cowboy, with area around Nana Plaza and Gullivers the most probable. (Big Dogs/ Checkers/New Irish pub across from Nana Plaza) may be a daily hangouts.
Please if anybody has seen him, knows where he's at. Please just let me know what you can. There may need to be a rescue operation done !!!

Just to let you know, he showed back up in Japan today. Unannounced and in bad shape. No word on what has happened with him, but will let you all know when I get back there and chat with him!
