Guys, way of the P4P topic, but wondered if anyone living here might be able to help.
I would like to do up the exterior of my house like a santa's grotto, the kind of house you see on the american xmas movies, thousands of lights etc etc, the things we do for our kids ay !
Anyway, does anyone know of any company/firm that could be hired to do this in Bangkok ? I'm looking to pay a firm to come over, lease me all the gear and set it all up, then after xmas come back and take it all away.
I know it's a longshot, but TIT !

call up any of the event organizer's in Thailand.
if they cant find the items you need for the showcase/event/display etc they can have it fabricated. There are countless ones in Thailand: PICO, Index (now part of GMM), DMC etc. etc.
best of all, they can hire 'pretties' to dress up as santa's helpers - not sure on the 24/7 working hours though. LOL

Cannot help you with any sources Meaty but it sounds like just the kind of thing Mrs Shredddie would like to do to our place up country if she had the opportunity.
In my mind I can picture the house all decked out in fairy lights, a large illuminated model of santa in his sleigh being pulled by reindeers in the garden, and flashing lights all around the perimeter wall as well.
How out of place would that look in a poor Isaan village?
Still it would probably give all the locals a treat as the children probably will never have seen anything like that before or even have heard of Christmas. It would be their version of the Blackpool illuminations.
Maybe one day, lol.
