I have had a Thai member of my staff on a project now for almost 3 weeks and all he can give me is one company and they won't come out to our offices for a meeting !?!
I need a local firm that can recreate my exsiting company stationery and reprint on demand, minimum orders of 2,000 sheets per item at reorder time. Must be printed on conqeror paper. approx reorder of 2-3 items every couple of months.
I also need business cards printing usually 200 for one person every other month.
The only strange request I have is that some of the business cards require chinese characters on the reverse.
I cannot believe he has been unable to find one, either his lack of ability or a strange Thailand issue, i'm going with ability and as is usual in LOS I am once again having to do a job myself if I want it done properly rather than delegate to a local employee, Jeez it really highlights why there are so many of us expats here doesn't it !
Anybody have a reliable printing company they can put me in touch with ?
As a side note there is also a requirement for a complete set of new stationery for a 2nd company, and all the printing that goes with that too.
I'm hoping that what my employee has failed to achieve in 3 weeks will be resolved by the bro's here within a couple of days.

Some of these printing shops are small, and they just don't have the resources to send someone out to take orders for a job, especially if it's a small job. I used to use a printer somewhere in Washington Square, and I had to go there personally all the time to hand in my artwork and communicate the specifications. The good thing is that, you can go for a relaxing massage in either Sazanka or Angels 22 after that.

BK's right. But I have to send the admin girl out or do it myself. There are myriad of these little shops; just pick the one that seems best and easiest to work with. Some people in them are more talented and effective. Others make small mistakes (which you don't want) somehow, and their work has to be checked over. I've changed recently, and will change again--I have a great admin girl on my staff now that could do a better job than most of the girls/boys in these places, if we had the equipment.
