So, Thaksin, the fugitive, gets convicted. Gets two years in prison.
So, now, he will appeal.
The appeal will be lodged at the Supreme Court within 30 days for a review by its full bench. Should the high court rule to launch the appellate review, the extradition request has to be suspended pending the outcome of the judicial decision.
He's just playing a damn waiting game, delaying and stringing everyone along, hoping that by waiting long enough, things will go his way.
In the meantime, the country is going down the tubes.

Maybe he should also use his time in England to take some remedial ENglish courses - his anticipated letter to the media, starts off with: "Dear My Friends in International Media"
Oh well, and the show goes on
