Usually I visit LOS in Dec - Apr.. now I'll be visiting BKK in Nov/oct.
I know it is the rainy season and all, but how are the venues? Do the local "resources" use this time to visit their folks up north? Guess action is a lot less this time...
and I do wonder how the swineflu affects everything now? Read and heard in news that ppl do not go out to cinemas, dinners... the "parlors".. same avoidance here as well?

Divinebaal,if you arrive in the second half of October you should avoid all but the very end of the wet season, unless you plan to spend October in the south of Thailand.
The 23rd October is the only public holiday in Oct/Nov so I see no reason why P4P girls would choose this period to go home.
Swine flu seems to be no more prevalent in Thailand than anywhere else,but no doubt it would be wise to avoid enclosed public spaces.

Now I finally have had OK and approval of my vacation and it would not be late Oct.. crap.. I will be going there late sept. 2nd half of sept.. and now I have the ticket as well :D
it IS the rainy season.. that I know.. but I need to get away.. have had one week of vacation in Jan.. and nothing else for over a year.
At least the cinema complex in BKK is great ;D

Who cares about the weather in Bangkok anyway. You'll probably be indoors most of the time.
Just buy yourself an umbrella on arrival and try not to leave it in the first bar you visit!!

exactly - weather.. don't care.. worst case - use self tanning lotion if you need "color"..
Was a bit surprised.. today I contacted my favo hotel in Bangkok and it seemed to be that most of the rooms were rather booked. But I got me room...
Just a bit "worried" that the actions drops due to mongrels being away.. but a friend told me it is better that time as less a-holes are available.. those a-holes that pay 2much and spoil them ladies.
