Single dad, with 2 great kids, been a year since we turfed their cheating mum out.
Life is now good, professional nanny company in place, kids are chilled.
Kids are having a fun weekend without dad so now its my turn, I need a blow out and a big one. Whores, booze, sex, but also a GFE to cuddle up to LT.
Yep, fully aware its all fake, nope ain't looking for a wife or GF. Looking for some 'man' time, could try going to a normal pub and 'pulling'...but for what, I don;t just want company I want 'the package' and thats best paid for when time is limited. It's been a year since a good blowout, I need it, i've damn well earned it.
I'm thinking Pattaya for purely debauched reasons, but I don't know Pattaya very well, yep know soi 6, but that kills 30 minutes at best 
I know WS but not so much which bars to hit, I know the dangers of the place in general.
Bangkok I could easily amuse myself but as I have 2 nights I thought of driving to Pattaya...
What would you do ? Where would you stay ? What bars would you hit ?

I hear you Blonk, I was down at the Marriott with the kids only a few weeks back, but I hate that damn drive from Bangkok, 2.5hrs on the new ring road and every time a lorry or 2 on its side, plus hotels there offer less facilities for more money and girls are not the best picks.
No, it needs to be focused on booze and pussy, Hua Hin doesn't cut it for this trip, cheers anyway.

Soi LK Metro seems to be taking my fancy, according to reports on other sites, a lengthy soi, 5 or 6 go-go's, there's Lolitas and devils Den, plenty of beer bars, foreign eateries, and clean and comfortable places to stay, if its as it says on the tin then I think I could happily kill 48hrs here 
Not wasting any time flying to Chiang Mai Blonk !

Meatywsg - if it were me. I would get a Hotel central BR or LK Metro.
Friday clean the pipes afternoon at Devils Den.
Friday night Walking street have a look around see if anything takes your fancy. Sooo many bars soo little time.
Saturday AM walk off the beer, lunch at Coffee Club RGP and have a Soapy in the PM.
Sat night either take away from DD or trawl soi 6, 7, 8.
Sunday sleep long have and repeat any of the above until the taxi arrives. Enjoy.

Courtyard by Marriot in Hua Hin is better for kids than Marriot I think.
For Pattaya, Centara Mirage Beach Resort is very good for kids. They have a mini water park there. The kids will love it.

Indeed I am Blonk, but I can highly recommend Marriott Courtyard in Hua Hin for kids, fantastic kids club, nice pool, lots of fun, and solid, reliable baby sitting service.
Only one restaurant though with limited menu, lots of mid-so Thais stay here.
Centara Mirage, still haven't got into here, every time I try and book they're full, but then I don't usually get much lead time, so its my fault not theirs.

Meatywsg, Is your journey already started or finished ? I would say, Kanchanaburi by bus ride with your GF from Bangkok. Stay there and come back fresh. Or, even Tide resort at Chonburi, just one hr from Bangkok.

Thanks Bimlee but I opted for 2 nights on Soi LK Metro in Pattaya and had a real blast, i'd describe it as soi Bintabaht in Hua Hin but with plenty more options, go-go's and lots of nice diamonds mixed in with the usual's. I really enjoyed the whole vibe and patter. The only downside was the number of westerners (not eastern europeans) that seemed to be in and out of the bars with no shirts on and covered in tats. Whether on holiday or living there, I don't get the attitude of playing pool in a bar without your shirt on ? its not that hot, and this soi is nowhere near a beach...but thats just me, maybe my parents loved me too much as a child !
Tide Resort in Bang Saen is nice, stayed once before, but the whole beach is bloody expensive for food and chairs (compared to other beaches) surprised the Thais put up with it as Bang Saen must be 85% Thai tourists.
Kanchanaburi is nice, but would have been way too quiet for my intended fun.
