Well it was about time someone admitted to helping these girls with more than B500 on the table after a role in the hay.
First GF after about a year - oldest in the family, had to pay for the wake for her father and build house for mother. No to answer your question I did not foot the bill for either of them. I did however assist during both. I also provided a motocycle for the family to get around on early in the realtionship. Nothing unusual here guys, I would be willing to bet most of you who live here have done more.
This lady has since married a nice guy, and is about the best lady friend that I have over here. She is constantly looking out for my walfare and once we split up would not accept another dime from me. (over two years ago)
I have been to the village, though not while we were together, and have seen the house and the family, and the conditions prior to my and others assistance.
Now I know many of you will have similar stories and 90 percent of you will not wish to pass them along, thinking you are touting your own horn. Well perhaps that is all I am aaccomplishing, however I would like to think it might encourage others to assist when it feels right to do so.
I am not suggesting nor condoning lump sum payments to various nefarious ladies, however if you are helping with someones education or family you should be proud of it, and encourage others to do the same. Lets face it we are not talking about breaking the bank here now are we.
Anybody else slayed some dragons out there?

Hin,
Nothing to be ashamed of. I am a firm believer in the rule of 3's - "what you do, good or bad, comes back to you threefold." The point is that you did what felt RIGHT to you.
I have done the same for girls when they had a death or other emergency like an accident or broken leg/arm from mototrbike, etc. No matter what our station in life, we all need a little help sometime.
The ones I have helped truely needed it and I have been rewarded with friendships in Thailand that have lasted for years, spanning decades. And yes, lol one or two have sought to repay me (never required) in their own way, be it, some small very sentimental gift, taking me to a place special to them, or even steering a new girl or really good one my way for a treat or a really toe-cracking, butt-lenching sex with big smile. 
The main pleasure for me was seeing their faces when they realized that a farang would help them and that nothing other than their well-being was hoped for in exchange. Maybe it went a little ways to show that even we have a heart. I would like to think with all our efforts for pleasure, we still feel the warmth and happiness of doing good for another human being, especially a fair one from the LOS. I feel that is so.
