i'm sure this has been addressed before,but i done a search and could'nt find anything,so here goes.
we probably all have songs that remind us of LOS.
suddenly you hear one on the radio and you are instantly transported back to your time there.
i can think of many songs like this.
but is there a certain ONE that does it for you?.
this is my one,reminds me of sitting outside the 7-11 one night in the long distant past,alone with a beer in my hand,just looking for a soulmate for the night.
the lyrics convey exactly what happened to me that night.
the girl turned into a really good friend,someone who i think of a dear friend and also the best lover i have ever had in LOS.

I have 2:Heaven by Bryan Adams,I remember the second time I went to LOS and heard Bryan singing about being in heaven and I thought so am I.
Also Hotel California by the Eagles,I really like this song anyway and always seem to hear it sometime I am there.

Tracy Chapman & Suzanne Vega songs remind me of Thailand because this bar we went to a few times had a female artist (I remember her name was Bernadette and she came from the Phillipines) used to sing lots of those two artists songs.... and she was SO good... anytime I hear them on the radio or so I think back to Thailand.

i'm surprised it took almost 10 hours for someone to mention 'Hotel California'
it was probably the 2nd song i learnt the lyrics to(after Ziggy Stardust)and a fav of mine at the time and for many years.
but after it became the unofficial national anthem of Thailand,i soon began to hate it.
this is no lie,but i once heard it 19 times in one day in various bars.
i counted everytime it was played.
it really grates now.
