Does anyone know if you can buy Indonesian "Kretek" cigarettes in LOS ? I've never seen them there before but on the other hand wasn't seriously looking either.
I don't normally smoke but occaisionally like the odd kretek with a beer (normally outside and away from crowds as they tend to smell somewhat).

I am a big Kretek cigarettes lover myself, but I have not seen any to buy in LOS. I usually bring a pack of my own along.

As you say, I cannot imagine much that is better than a cold beer at sunset and a Kretek which burns for 20 minutes or so.

i have seen them occasionally here in bangkok in some tobacco shops but can not tell where!
i usually bring my own from indonesia!

I'll be bringing 5 packs with me that I bought in Germany. I could also buy some in UK but the cost would be almost as much as my flight ticket. I'd still be interested to know if anyone does ever find a shop that sells them in BKK though.
