I just came back from BK earlier this month. I am planning a return trip in either mid Oct. or mid Nov. Which month is better? Is there anything going on in those months? Also, if I stay at the Novatel Lotus, where is a good place for a tailor for a coat and pants? Can they copy a particular style like an Armani? Responses are greatly appreciated.

i am not getting any comission but i would heavily suggest to use narin on sukhumvit between soi 8 and 10. they are a bit more expensive than others but have much better quality material than most other tailors plus you will get as manuy fittings as needed compared to the standard 1 or 2 done by most of the cheap indian tailors!

Hey brother Goku, welcome to the brotherhood. Oct. and Nov. are 2 different tourist seasons. Oct. is considered the end of the low tourist season and Nov. is considered the beginning of the high tourist season. Oct. gets a lot of rain as it is the end of the rainy season, less tourist, more ladies available, and easier to find hotel rooms. Nov. is when the cooler weather starts to set in so the tourist start to head that way. More tourist, less ladies available, hotels start to fill up. Nov. is still early for high season but if you don't mind a little rain now and then ( I am so bad  ) then Oct. might be worth considering. Peace

GOKU- I echo CMORE in the welcome. On Sukhumvit 13, first floor of Raumchitt Plaza, (I swear they otta pay me for these plugs), is HARRY TAILOR. Fittings by day, Thermae Cafe, underneath by night. Nice guy, good materials and prices. Had two suits, shirts etc., for several yrs. and both hold up well, still receive compliments. Very conveinient location. Just my reccomendation.
I like October myself, as the high season has passed, and it's not raining like crazy either. JMHO. Have fun bro.
