Hello Monsieur Lobo,

What is worth the visit in this museum?
I will be in town next week, maybe Rivas or Spasso is a best place to visit (i'm not into military birds).

Pretty good museum for LOS.
They have one of the few Nueiport 27s left in the world that was used by the Siamese Expeditionary Force in 1917 in France.  Three years ago I tracked down in P-Lok the last surviving vet of the SEF.  He was 103 and still lived with his 101yo wife.  He told me all about the 27.

The have a good collection of aircraft MGs too.

They also have the homemade Thai bomber from the 20s called the Piobatra.  The RTAF actually began in 1911.

I would also mention a very fine collection of Cold War aircract too.

If you like warbirds or military history worth a visit, but alot of trouble to get there.  It's all the way donw Pohayothin Road on the east side of the airport in Rangsit (I think).

Definitely worth the trip if you're an aviation fan.  There are some nice restorations of Curtiss biplane fighters.
The Spitfire (XIV or similar late model) hasn't been restored - I used to see it out on the apron every time I took off from Don Muang, so it's a bit weathered.

The museum is run by the RTAF, and entrance is free.  Closed on public holidays, though.
