Got conned into going to SIAM PARK on the weekend, having endured Safari World, the dusit Zoo, etc, thought I was prepared for it all, but 10,000 + Thais making out they are at the beach in a concrete jungle !!! 200bt adults/100bt kids, it is at Bangkapi, a fair way out, past Rhamkhamheng, figure on close to 200bt in a cab [ and I had to offer double to jump the queue and get a cab back late afternoon!] plenty of free rides etc inside, but you have to queue up, anyway feature is a large man made lake, which must admit good for young kids, if you cant beat em join em they say, so TPE fork over 10 baht for the deck chair and spend a few hours eyeing potential young P4ps in swimsuits !

Sorry but to busy to search.. Are there any nice Zoo's in around BKK, I was at the Tiger Zoo close to Pattaya last time. That was a very interesting day out, and not expensive..

Het TPE, I have been there twice now, yeah twice, silly me, but the perving can be nice, also the big water slide is excellent and you can get up a good head of speed, so much that I saw several Thai guys crash into the concrete at the end of the recovery pool and twice saw 2 guys actually fly over the edge and into the garden.
But all the other stuff in there is almost crap, you should have gone there 5 years ago when I first went, it has improved tenfold since then. I have heard that Dream World is very good, so will check that out next time. The water slide at the water park in Pattaya is good also, but the rest is very ordinary, I jumped off the main tower in the flying fox getup and expected a thrill seeker speedy ride to the bottom, the f_cker was so slow the rest of the family beat me down in the lift.

you thrillseeker and daredevil HM .... put 007 to shame you do! - I think I picked a long weekend which was not bright, but is good for kids I guess, especially if the TG has a few you want to lose
