Back to BKK in December. Not really a newbie, but this time I want to get the most out of the trip.
I'm a normal, decent, fit, non smoker, no macho kind of guy.
But the question I have is this: is there a secret that Farangs do not know, that would really impress the BGs? And help make a nice experience into a really nice one?
(Please, no comments on the size of my wallet. And I have no time to learn Thai properly.)

If you are not too ugly to look at, I suggest you move out of P4P arena to find a girl that will actually deserve your being nice. There are a few million non-P4P girls in BKK also.
f*** the working girls for recreational sport f***ing.....work some normal girls for your sanity.
Line up meeting some girls here beforehand by finding some girls on Thailandfriends.com, or Yahoo Hi5. You will find many nice girls that you can go out to dinner with..etc. You can be a gentlemen to the good girls, and be a sex monger to the P4P girls. Thinking that you will convert a working girl off the main thing on her mind $$$$ is a hopeless illusion.

But don't foget to bring along trinkets from home. The girls really do like the US trinkets. Buy a dozen extra small USA panties, you'll be a hit! Old Navy has some stuff, I understand. Buy 'em all extra small.

Seriously though, just act decently, be polite, don't lose your cool and small gifts or tips will give you plenty jai dee with the girls. Keep it light and fun.
But don't overdo things with gifts and tips or they will see a large flashing neon sigh on your forehead reading M-U-G.
At bed time they seem to like it when I scrub them in the shower, something I doubt any Thai man ever did for them.

I know the original poster asked not to comment on the size of the wallet, but I really can't get my head around this obssession with 'being nice' - what are you trying to achieve here exactly? Make her fall in love with you?? If a girl is a starfish, I doubt there is anything *nice* that you can do to change her attitude anyway.
Just be a good sport and tip her if you like her. There's really nothing else to it.
