I agree that it's most of the time used as a joke. Some females will latch onto a guy and put the guilt trip on him, but calling him a "butterfly" in hopes that he will only take them out though.

we all talk about how unfair the butterfly term is when applied to us when the TG's are exempt from the term presumably because they are working. Think about this....many of us talk like there are no professional TG's worth being serious with and constantly try to hit on the non professional girls. While I would accept that there is a better chance of finding a real jewel with your non working girls I would also argue that to lump all working girls into the "unaccpetable for serious relationship" catagory is not appropriate. Guess what goes around comes around.

don't know if I can really go along with that - I would think that 90% of all Bar/Working girls have had at least one, and in most cases many, serious relationships - sad to say, the majority live for the day, and let the chance go by, or more likely ruin it by not keeping up their end of the bargin, with the result the Guy says to hell with relationships with BGs, - and the BG says all farangs are butterflies ! Sadly see many who then hit the 30 yr. mark - and suddenly realise its too late - and there chance has gone - T I T !!
