Hey all! Will be arriving in BKK from California in a short 3 days... right off the bat... would like to thank you all for the generous info that you guys provide about BKK, and where to go etc.
Seeing that this is my first time in asia and thus Thailand, I am not quite sure what my plan is... but know that making plans in BKK would only assure that when I break those plans I wont be happy - or maybe I will depending on which girl makes me break the plans. 
Anyhow, to the questions at hand: I will be traveling with a co-worker (female) and we are both pretty chill about hanging in go-go bars, strip clubs, etc. etc. She is very open minded and so am I. The question is this... since I am traveling with her... would it be cool with all the unwritten rules of BKK to bring her to all the fine establishments that you guys suggest? Or will the mamasan slap the silly farang out of me? In other words, are there places that are more "couple" or open minded friendly where I can potentially incorporate my friend into the action? (would not want to leave her out of all the fun - and I sure damn know that she could use the extra attention that a soapy would provide). I know that when I travel to Mexico and such, bringing a girl to the strip club means that your night will be just that more crazy and random.... do same rules apply to BKK? I know u guys mentioned in previous threads that most of these places are guys only.

If you have never been to asia then how do you know you or her will be cool with gogo bars? they do not have remotely the same feel as strip clubs in the states.
Either way you will almost never have a problem with the patrons or proprietors of these establishments.
You will have to suffer the looks of pity that punters will give you especially if your coworker is not f_cking hot.
You will get less attention from the women unless your coworker is fun and vocal and lets them know yyou are not together.
Or maybe you both work in porn and you will just have a great time.

Females can go to most of the bars and clubs. But I can't really imagine why you want to go to a go-go bar with a female co-worker, especially if you want to barfine one of the TG's. A lot of women are open minded, but word about you procuring a prostitute will likely spread throughout your work place. I would think twice about doing that in front of her. There are plenty of places you can go with her in BKK that do not involve P4P.
For beginners, I recommend massage parlors like Darlings, which is convenient to Sukhumvit. There are also many other good MP's around town, both soapies and oil. Since you probably don’t want to bring a TG back to your hotel where your co-worker may see you with a TG, that is another reason why MP’s maybe best for you on this trip.

Thanks for the very good points... I guess its hard for me to imagine the difference between Tijuana and BKK... I mean as far as go-go bars go etc.
As far as her talking sh_t at work... HER rep would be on the line too... we r both very much into whatever happens in LOS stays in LOS and the "dont as dont tell policy" Gotta love female friends. hehehe.
So I take it Darling would be most user friendly?
In addition... off topic... what is the staple Thai spirit... seeing that I prefer voBKa... what can I expect as the staple of BKK mixed drinks etc. etc.

OK, you need on your list a visit to Q bar. Sukhumvit Soi 11. They have (not 100% sure about the amount) at least 65 different kinds and more arriving all the time..
They poor also the best measures of Thailand, almost double shots.

just don't do it !!
and I've known a few guys who got into these sort of situations before and then the tables were turned on them when the other party sort of pointed the finger and said "but the stuff you were doing was much more sleazy than anything I/We did", 
so just be careful. You might not want to let out your Mr. Hyde side when she's still in the room...

If you went to a go-go bar and barfined a TG, and your co-worker just watched, I don’t see what leverage you have over her about not telling others. One thing you apparently don’t understand about women is that they have to tell someone. It is in there genetic nature to gossip.
Darlings would be good for you, but maybe not good for your female co-worker. I don’t know if every soapy MP allows women customers. Your original question was about go-go bars, etc, where females are welcome.
Darlings is good for newbie’s on their first day for a lot of reasons (IMO). The price is fixed at 2500 baht (at most other soapy MP’s the price varies according to the TG and papasan may try to rip you off). Tip is normally about 500 baht. Once you get to the room, you will be offered drinks which you can decline if you want to. Darlings has a good location if you are on Sukhumvit (about 100 meters down Soi 12). Usually opens at 6:00 pm last time I checked. The TG’s at Darlings may not be the very best looking in BKK, but they consistently give good service.
After you first experience at Darlings, you can be more adventurous and try other places around town if you want to.

Thanks for the loads of advice... I am damn glad that I am staying in LOS for 2 wks... gives me room to maneuver and enjoy all BKK has to offer.
Latin girls anyone? Checked the non-TG thread.... no latin girls mentioned. Was in Rio in Jan... lets just put it this way... the women are breath-taking... and I have seen my share of the "Hollywood model/actress crowd" in Cali. so thats saying a lot... mmmmm... Brazil....

I can't remember ever seein' a Latino type gracing the stage in GoGo's etc., in LOS - somebody else might have perhaps.
I've often taken a Falang GF and several Falang friends that are girls to a GoGo in LOS and nobody seemed to care in each case.
