Hi,

just planned my first trip in Thailand for september (5days BBK+ 5 days Pattaya or Pukhet) but just read it's the worst time to go there regarding the weather.

Actually I didn't planned to go there for all nice things I read here (MP's, BG,...), lol I even didn't know it was running like that, for sure I will give it a try tho as it seems to be a must $$$

But knowing that my first wish was too just enjoy few days in a nice holydays place (sun, visits, beach...), should I reconsider my destination or just ignore the weather question and go on and live with it ?

Thank you for any infos who can help me to make my final choice, I planed to go there from september 6 to september 16, more or less 2 days

September is the wettest month in LOS, average temp 86 degree's.

However, it rains, it steams, sun comes out, everything dry's up and the cycles continues.

However, nothing to stop you enjoying indoor entertainment or just switching the air con on.

Can't really say the weather bothers me

Like the above...much rather indoor activities. Actually like a bit of rain in the evening. Can pour down sometimes.

Very humid all the time but a beer or 3 always helps cool down.

Enjoy

JackRabbit present...

I have been there many times in september and can not complain.

Days have been sunny or partially rainy and I got my share of stupid sunbathing.

Well, sometimes in the evening I have found myself rainlocked but the action has always been there.

Late October is less rainy and not so hot. Still the low season. For good info on Pattaya check http://www.pattayatalk.com Join the forum.

Yeah, dont worry about the rain, I got caught in one of the heaviest downpours recently and ended wandering into a bar and meeting the cutest little thing ever, well almost ever. So you see, it rains and it pours for a reason in Los.

I finally get it. You rent your stomach out as one of those walking billboards to afford you next trip to Thailand. Before it was FLB not it is pattayatalk. Who says you can't make a buck in Thailand?

Got to agree with NM, getting rainlocked in a bar can be good fun.

Cowboy floods in rain and you could be there for hours, in Patpong the sewer roaches crawl out to join their cousins in the joints.

It is low season until end August and then everything picks up. Sepetmber you can still get some real bargains in hotels, flights, anything but June is my favourite month, cheapie cheapie.

Ahhhh, happy memories of waves across the bonnet on Sukhumvit in September. Or the 1.2m flood in Din daeng in the same month, the only day I ever had a pickup truck to drive.

I prefer now to the Dry season.
