If you want some info from reputable doctors, check out THEBODY.com. They know what they are talking about on the subject, and the have tons of forums with worried well people asking questions.

Squence normally works that you start to see symptoms of acute HIV infection after about two weeks from the incident. All symptoms are common symptoms that could be associated with lots of other harmless things, so that is where people scare the sh_t of themselves. Out of all of the symptoms the most common one would be all of your lymph nodes (Arm pits, neck, groin) getting big and swollen ALL at the same time...not just one.
You can get a test done as many times as you want, but it won't be reliable till after 90 days have passed. You can get one at 6 months also, but if you are still negative at 3 months, it is highly doubtful you will be positive.
Anyways, check out that site. All the answers are there. It is also good for all you dick slingers out there to know what is safer sex, and what is riskier sex.
