Since this thread got changed to Sidewalk FL let me tell you what happened to me tonight.
I decided that a Palm D'Oro (unsure of the spelling) Pizza sounds good. I drove over to Soi 5 & parked in the Foodland Parking lot.
Went into the restuarant & sat down. Ordered my pizza. Decided to hop over to Bier Garten to try & get the phone number of pixie & dixie.
As I walk out - there is a little cutie standing in front of the phone box which is on the corner in front of Tony Roma. I do a serious double take I walk a few steps past her & then back - o boy - this one is way cute.
I march to Bier Garten - heckle & jeckle are hustling 2 punters. NOT INTERESTED.
I walk back - little Missy is still maintaining her position guarding that phone box. I stop - I ask her her name - you work? Yes - How much you need for short time? 1000. Ok - I ask her if I can see her tomorrow. Yes. You have mobile? Yes. Can I call you tomorrow? Yes. I get mobile number. I walk back to restuarant - I think - why not have this little angel sit with me? Back outside - tell her I want to talk. What you do? Eating.
We sit down & it's not long till the pizza arrives. She helps me by eating one slice - A Roy My? Just OK. NP - this is my favorite BKK Pizza Pie. We talk - you go to school? Yes. Which one? Ramkamhang. What you study? Accounting. Cool - me marketing major. You study English? Yes. How old 25. Where you from? Bangkok. (this is unusual) You live at home with Mum & Dad? Live with Auntie.
After we finish dinner I tell her that I want to show her something. We head up the street - see that red sign? Yeah - we call that GT bar. You can meet me there tomorrow.
She gets carded at the door - we walk in - see some BTF members. Introduce little cutie to them.
And that fellows is how hard it is to find girls on the sidewalk between Soi 3 & Soi 17. P.S. This happened at 8:30 pm. Kissed her goodbye & gave her a red.
Please do not let me dissuade you from trying the same stunt at 1 am 2 am 3 am 4 am etc. I am sure the selection gets better. My advice - bin the booze & get to f***ing. The selection is unbelievable. You can always get pissed after the shagging.

...and in a couple of months they will be distracted by yet another 'new campaign', and we'll have lost another couple of 100,000 tourists or something like that.
Instead of arresting and sending out the police, the gov't should smarten up and create something like ONE big sin-free zone, on the outskirts of Bangkok - zone to have bars open 24 hours.
IT will attract all the bars and gogos being hassled now, and the situation will clean itself up. Clamping down on local business', while not providing them an alternative is not only (as usual) stupid, but it's clear that in addition to being dumb, none of the current ministers have ever read Sun-Tzu.
