Seems like we're a perfect match for trawlin' Nana. I'm much older, drink as much as I can get down my neck in the time available and I like the "larger" BG. So we're never gona argue about BGs are we! Pity I'm stuck about 6 hours away on a plane at the mo' but keep me in mind for yer next trip, I'll be in LOS circa Jan or April 2k5.

Try Woraburi, further down the road from Nana Hotel. About 1000 Baht. The hotel has a swimming pool.

Majestic Suites is good and very popular so you may have trouble getting in.
Admiral Suites is another goodun up on Soi 22, try their web site. Both around your price frame.
Ambassador charges for the girls unless you have booked a double room for 2 persone direct with em.
Try the President chain but beware of the one on Soi 24 it can be hard to get into Suk from and road side rooms suffer from Tuk Tuk noise all night.
I've used asiatravel.com on many occaisons and found them very good, they only mucked one booking up on me but got me into another hotel no bother.

There are a few around the lower sukhumvit that'll suit you and the price you are looking for.
Majestic suites,:
Right around the corner from soi 4. Good and clean, guest friendly. walking price was around 1200B. Can be booked out during high season.
Ambassador Hotel:
Soi 11, close enough to walk to nana, soi 7 beergarden, and soi cowboy. Guest friendly if you book for 2. Book via a website, walkin price is much more expensive. Can be booked out during high season.
Park hotel:
Soi 7, right across from soi 7 beergarden. Guest friendly if you book for 2, good size rooms if you get the 1st floor side wing. Normally around 1300B walkin price for 2 people, no breakfast (average anyway). They usually have a room.
The three above are all sub 1500B hotels.

i might recommend you nana city there is even a austrian restaurant adjourned (soi 4). 800 baht
or the swiss grottino on soi 19. which has new and nice rooms. 1600 baht.
both have rooms NOW.
but I guess I was late and you found suitable accommondation already.

few are usually at gullivers for perving and happy hour, some are at beergarden earlier for perving.

I dont know if I am too late replying....Most of the hotels I have tried have been booked (or really slow replying). The hotels that I know have rooms available end -Dec early - Jan in the general Nana area are:
Fortuna, Parkway, Rajah and I think Grand Inn...They all are around 1000-1200 baht. Anyone know which of these hotels is good/bad as far as bringing women in?
The others I have sent to have either not replied or are booked. Nana, Dynasty, Majestic which were my top 3 choices are booked...gotta love last minute hotel hunting!
Anyway, I am gonna be in Bangkok from Dec 22 - 26th and then back in around 4-5th of Jan for a few days. Anyone wanna party or whatever, lemme know. If it matters I am mid-20's, american and like all women...ha ha!
