When I'm in Thailand I can smell the farong smell.
I don't want to hurt anyone’s feelings but there are certain nationalities that don't appreciate the importance of bathing regularly. In a tropical climate I'd say once a day should be the minimum, and thats not really enough. I hate walking into a Pattaya bar and getting hit by the reek of BO.

I think that when you live with a Thai girl , thats when you know what it is to be clean , I have a Thai wife and a Mia Noi and both take really good care of me , shower me , groom me ,cut my nails ect , keeping your self clean can be fun , I never shower alone my girls would take that as I sign of disrespect.

Mia Noi is typically translated as "Minor Wife"- yes a mistress.
* Though if you want to get into cultural significance of the semantics ("NO PLEASE DON'T" says kman)- one could argue that the use of the word "wife" (albeit minor) is noteworthy.

i agree with bassgod to an extent.
there are certain races/nationalities who have an aroma of their own.
i expect i have a 'smell' which maybe people can detect at times.
that's why i love the asian girls,they have no aroma at all[in my opinion] and i love the natural smell.
but i find they love to use the deodorant i buy when i'm there and seem impressed when i spray it on myself.
perhaps they are glad i'm getting rid of my 'falang' smell.
not that any of them has yet to say anything to me,even on the hottest day when i'm really sweating from the heat.
