Majestic Suites. Good selection in Bangkok. Very popular and very girl friendly. If you walk around the corner past Nana Plaza and continue you'll come another popular place, the Dynasty INN. They have 2 hotels in Pattaya and either can be booked at their travel desk. The Dynasty INN on soi 13 in Pattaya is the most popular as it's almost directly between north and south Pattaya and also very girl friendly. If you book and prepay for 2 or more nights they will provide you free transport via minibus direct to either one of their hotels in Pattaya. Return to Dynasty Bangkok (right around the corner from Majestic) via minibus direct on the date of your choosing for 350 Baht. I've stayed at the Dynasty INN Pattaya 4 times and is my favorite.

Correction....after re-reading your post, I see that your staying at the Majestic Grande, NOT the Majestic Suites. Still fairly close to Nana Plaza but might be a pain to haul your bags all the way over to the Dynasty.

Wud not stay at the residence gardens, although nice rooms it is very far from action,but if u most then type flb bar and hit search. flb can give u a discount bigger than antwhere else. they aslo have hotel review for all hotels in pattaya and site links on almost every thing. For one stop shopping on any thing in pattaya type in pattaya lap.hu or just pattaya lap theyhave-sites on all hotels, bars gogos,newspapers,maps, points of interest,all chat boards.Hotels on soi 7, 8. 13 and 2nd road all very good and just short ride on bat bus that make lope down 2nd to big c and then to beach road to walking street and back to 2nd road. p.s never get in an empty bhat bus parked along the road bec. if u do they will say u hired them for 1500+bhatand tourist police not much help here..Instead,always wait for one driving down the road. Lots of action at 2nd rd acorss from big c, soi 7 and 8 soi 10 and on beach road from soi 13 to walkinig street I wud never pick up freelancer on beach road -reason read pattaya news and will see many punters robbed or killed by these. Not to long ago apunter caught a freelancer that eh ahad picke up on beach road stealing his pohe, he took her to the police where she had to pay a small fine but then he was arrested bec. she was under age and is faceing a long jail term

It was I who made the mistake. I made a resevation at Majestic Suites, not MG. I've decided to stay at the Dynasty Inn while in Pattaya.
Only 6 weeks before I shove off!

Dyansty hotel is ok,pool no good and rooms a bit worn and dark. Good location but remember bring back 1 girl no joiner fee but more than 1 at a time must pay
