More of a normal Night Life Scene.

If possible I would advise a PFP newbie to head directly from the BKK airport to Pattaya via bus or taxi. Bangkok can be overwhelming for a first-time visitor, while PTY is much more laid-back and manageable. Also I think BKK has far more "sharks" than PTY and everything is cheaper than BKK. (especially ladies and hotels) For non-PHP activities such as temple tours BKK is better and could be done toward the end of a holiday.

I might be a little harsh on P.I., but if you go, try the Angeles City Subic Bay area
For me it's all about KINK, Thai girls are the clear winner, they just won't say no and I love that
And yes, Thai food and a general feeling of safety beats P.I. hands down

nevertheless a lot of the long time bkk guys are moving to the philippines at the moment. better econmic prospects, cheaper prices, more willing girls and just a vibe from the girls I haven't seen in bkk for years!
yes bkk has more clubs and much more to do, the better gfe and treatment you will get in manila, with hardly no scams.
imo, as longs as you have more time to spend I would split between bkk and mnl evenly. pattaya or angeles are just dumps for me, no quality in either city to be had. as always the beautiful and aspiring girls will try their luck in the big cities as better opportunities and people for them!

Gonna jump on the Dr Love bandwagon. Hung out with him for 2 months in 05 before the tours got going. Just a great way to learn the nightlife and many other things as well. Will not steer you wrong. Looking forward to hangin with the good Doc and a roundtable or two in June.
Never been to PI but work with a few in NYC. Most don't have a high opinion (except for their families) and none plan on returning when it's time to retire. See no reason to go anywhere else. LOS has spoiled me rotten.

Is it something along the lines of what BK just suggested, or something else? Because certainly what he describes is key, but it is no different than I have consistently experienced in BKK (the opposite in PTY yes, but BKK no).
And BK, does that "best attitude" include stealing their own money from you too

well first of all flippo girls are more horny than the overf***ed thai ones! never really had a phil girl who didn't get dripping wet while performing.
i hate the thai version of usually overf***ed girls with their ky lube in the handbag. not all of course but many, just to commercial for me! ky is a thing I haven't experienced in thailand 5 or more years ago but is very common now! never seen it in the phil as they don't need it! of course you ar emuch hornier and generally interested when you only have a customer in may 1-2 weeks compared to 1-2 a day!
flippers never do a runner, if you wanna stay with them a long term is a long term is a long term, nice to not have the odd calls of friends being locked out of the door or being in hospital or or or!
flippos always give you or me at least a full GFE, not so often with thai girls these days unless you know them well.
flippers speak fluent english (90% of them), are christian and have a western education. the shocking education levels like in thailand aren't there at least most of them know the difference between austria and australia for example.
to summarise it up as the old saying goes: thais go after your money and flippers after your passport. if you wanna f*** like crazy and wild stick with the professional thais, if you are looking for a GFE or a partner stick with the flippers!
if you are around in the nightlife areas in manila you will find that about 50% of the girls are students or already graduated, try to match that in bangkok.
in general I would say thais are more sabai, party and sanuk oriented whereas the PGS are more motivated to education, carrer, success and taking responsibilities. in the long run I rather spend my time with girls who do have a bit broader horizon and ambition in life and not where the next party, drugs and booze are!
a TG will never really adapt to a western lifestyle and always will be homesick. as they are brought up in that collective borg belief that they are distinctive thai and all the rest doesn't matter. they will be fun to be with in thailand but nagging in the world. flippers adore the world and are trying to get out.

if you are having a good time in pty or angeles I am happy for you! just not my choice of place! I rather have the better educated, taller, white skinned girls without stretch marks and / or tattoos that you usually find more in the capitals.
admitedly if you are going for a good time and as much booze and pussy as possible it is probably cheaper and better in angeles and pty. as a tourist coming to either places angeles and pty will be also easier to navigate and get acquainted to. so I wouldn't say anything against them and you for surre can have a good time there!
nevertheless if you have a bit higher standards, you will choose otherwise.
one of my good friends owns several bars in angeles another one some clubs in pty. every time I visit them I always struggle to find a companion for the night who matches my requirements. even heavy drinking usually doesn't blur my view of them enough to find most of them accceptable. hardly never have a problem with that in mnl and bkk, there it is more like to many girls, to little time!
