I had this experience in taking girls from BKK to beach resorts other than Phuket more than once. I took oil massage girl and agogo girl, result was mixed overall.
I have never called for escort in Thailand, do not know that aspects. In Bangkok I picked up freelancers only in rare occasions and have never taken freelancer for excursion.

Hotel check-in with your girl is no problem. Take double occupany in booking of your room/suite. Present your passport and her Thai ID card in the check-in process, no question asked about her at all. The Thai just don't care this.
Assuming you fly to Phuket, however, there may be a minor issue about booking her flight. Airline staff needs to see her ID card with name matching up the name of booking. This can be worked around though.
Beiung a beach guy, I have been to Phuket alone 5-6 times already so I am quite familar. Ayara Hilltop Resort is in Surin area, location is rather far from Potang -- at least half hour drive each way. Never stayed there myself. For such 4-4.5* hotel, my guess is this hotel is likely not guest-friendly if you bring back non-registered guest back at night.
BTW, 4 days in Phuket will go by very quickly if you are fortunate to have the 'right' girl with you. I understand this could be a bit challenging in finding the girl, particularly for first timer. Good luck.
If I were to do this again, I would visit many oil massage in BKK, both hanky panky kinds and the real Thai/oil massage joints in the window-shop, screening process. And if possible, avoid the massage places mainly or exclusively targeting Japanese clientele.

One of the biggest problems you are going to face with most every hooker you find to go with you is the language barrier. Hookers are not the best speakers of English, and after just a few days boredom is going to set in big time.
The easiest way to overcome this is to find two girls to take with you. All hookers have friends, and they aren't all dogs. Pattaya is not a nice beach area unless you are looking for hookers, and didn't bring them with. There is not much to do outside the bar activity.
Something else to take seriously into consideration. Thai girls, especially hookers, do not like the sun, or getting tan. They will not want to hang out on the beach with you for very long at all. More than a few minutes is a long time.
Dark skin is bad, very bad in their eyes. So they do not go out in the sun to get tan, or will they want to stay out in it. This fact can ruin some of the plans you have in mind, and this is seriously how they think. If you do take them with, keep this in mind, and take it very serious.

When I brought two girls along, it's always been a LOT of fun, and he's right, it's not that much more expensive - one extra ticket, and some extra food. That's about it.
