FYI-
Lunatic Fringe Handbook- Page 153- Paragraph 3, clearly states;
"When traveling overseas, or longer than overnight, it is customary to pack at least one pair of socks, and one pair of underwear for each day expected to be away, otherwise one may purchase said items at local clothing shop".
Fur hats, leggings, gloves, and nose warmers, are generally optional in LOS, though this is just my opinion.

Very important for you British chaps to bring a pair of socks, otherwise one will have nothing to wear with your sandals.
"Trainers" are absolutely de rigueur in case one is invited to a formal party at the Embassy, in which case one should wear them with your dinner jacket.

the "inside-out" approach for underwear is agood one for reducing the cost of washing underwear in the hotel.
Another, good approach you may want to try is to put your underwear (any side will do) outside your throusers, i.e. you put your pants on first.
This way, if you cum whilst being fondled by a bar girl or have some residual piss under your foreskin etc, your underwear stays clean.
THe next day you simply put your underwear on first, this protect you against the dirty inside of your pants, your pants are still good on the outside, and when you come to show yourself in your underwear in front of your BG , you'll look allright.
Just a thought you may want to try out. I'll come with you to Soi 33 if you like, next time m in town
