That said, it is my considered suggestion, (thanks FM!) you may wish to book the Ambassador for double occupancy,(no extra charge for double), though insist on a king bed, not twins at the Ambassador. around 25-30US per night, with a nice view up in the tower section.
You want to stay in the Sukhumvit area walking distance from Soi 7 Beergarten, Nana Entertainment Plaza, and Thermae Cafe. The Eden club and a couple of massage parlors are all walking distance from you room as well. The Ambassador has a poor, and other amenities, though there are a number of hotels in the general area that are clean and cheap, compared to
American Hotels of the like.
Now, you really have to do some homework on your own. Go to the Search Engine, then the Hotels Section, and book your hotel. Look at the maps to find NEP, and print them and study them on the plane. Now go and have fun damn it.

You could read the three threads I found in the 15 seconds it took me to use the search engine. However, if you don't want to trust the 30 or 40 people who have left messages on this subject, perhaps you can just call the U.S. Embassy on arrival in to BKK. Just tell them you are on sex holiday here but you don't like f_cking Thai women. I'm sure they they have a list of places you could go to find farang women, which they probably have pulled from the search engine on this site 
Another plan is to strip down on the plane to BKK, and just take your dick out. There are always fat farang women on the plane and I have always found this to be a great ice-breaker, especially in business-class. You'll get laid for sure.

Please Chi-guy, this is the newbie thread. Misleading and surrepetitious advice may be followed. We certainly don't want your good name sullied by the momentary fun you're deriving from misdirecting the newbie to the wrong venue for entertainment, now do you?
The US Embassy?
I will add this however, in 97 when my passport was stolen as well as my wallet, I spent a good solid three days at this less than happiest place on earth. When it was all said and done, they sent me down the street to the Thai embassy, where lo and behold, Thai policewomen! With sidearms too! Wow, nothing better in this world than a Thai-policewoman with a gun, barking out broken English at a traumatized farang.
Nice post though Chi-guy, just add the disclaimer next time.
